Melly has cut her third tooth!

Melody was being really grumpy today and we finally looked inside her mouth and found that her top right tooth had come through, and she is not happy about it!

Dustin and Sara

Dustin is working as a freelance writer for 4+ companies now. He is putting a hold on his novel for a little while until he can take a fresh look at it. I am taking my last 15 credits at BYUI and will graduate 69 days from now! I honestly think that is no time at all but it tends to depress any other students I talk to. We will immediately pack up after/during graduation and move to Tri-cities WA. We really like the weather, economy, apartment prices, and closeness to our parents that tri-cities offers us. We are getting really excited to be starting something new in a new place.

Does anybody have any ideas about choosing good babysitters so that you know your children are safe and in good hands while you are gone?

Melody Is 8 Months Old Now

Melly is still not crawling but she is working on her newfound skill of diving from a crawling position onto her belly so that she can get to things outside of her reach. She rolls around a lot and tried rolling off of our bed a couple of times today. She has also decided that walking is the funnest activity to possibly participate in. We walked around for a good 15 minutes at a time today with her laughing with excitement in her newfound capabilities. Today she also started cruising from her exersaucer to the chair near it. Unfortunately she fell and bonked her head on her bathtub before she started actually cruising. However, she got right back up and after a little cry of frustration, demanded to go back to the exersaucer and try standing again. When she arrived at the chair she held on to the back of it and kept hitting her head against the wood and looking confused as to why she was getting hit. Is this normal?

Also, Melly has decided that she doesn't like meat or vegetables. She loves mangoes, stealing Captain Crunch Berries from the toddler I babysit on occasion, graduates puffs of all flavors, and 100% whole grain wheat bread but that is about it.

Hey, so we finally figured out how to blog, being inspired by Sally's expert blogging and "gently" persuaded by our parents to put up new pics of Melody. Hopefully we can keep up you guys up to date on all the things going on in our lives.
